CrossFit Level 1 Certification

I don't really have a turning point...I got into CrossFit because my husband, Adrian, promised his long-time friend, Rudy, that he would join his gym were he ever to open one. One day, Rudy called Adrian and said he had opened the gym and to come to try out CrossFit. I had never heard of CrossFit but had been a long-time runner and thought I would try it out. I remember struggling to get through the warmup (10! of pushups, sit-ups, and squats) but pretty quickly I was hooked. Eventually, I decided to make the leap into coaching and was appreciative of Rudy making space for me in the coaching staff. So, maybe my turning point is that call from Rudy?
I enjoy coaching others, encouraging them to reach their goals and even exceed them. One of my favorite things is when an athlete does something new they didn't know they were capable of. To see someone achieve something they thought was unachievable is a special moment.
